Charles Schulz’s beloved comic comes to life in Clark Gesner’s classic musical, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. The whole gang is here: bossy Lucy (Paige Fraser)  is hopelessly in love with piano prodigy Schroeder (Justin Lapena) who doesn’t give her the time of day, perfectionist Sally (Sophie Leroux) is still mocking blanket-toting Linus (Ryan Nunez), Snoopy (Theo Budd) is in the doghouse, and “blockhead,” himself, Charlie Brown (Oliver Castillo), is in rare form.

Director’s notes:

The characters are intensely relatable - full of realistic human complexity and contrast. Schultz combined childlike nativity with adult cynicism to create quirky, compassionate characters which are accessible to all ages. While a child may appreciate the repetitive nature of the jokes and the uncomplicated art style, an adult will pick up on the subtle, darker commentary on life, disguised within the deceptively simple humor.
